Apple Blossoms, Alla Prima

“Apple Blossoms, Alla Prima” This little pastel was completed recently as a painting demonstration for a local art organization. I had painted something similar on a return trip thru upstate New York, when I had been struck by all of the Apple Blossoms I was seeing in early spring, and then when I was called as a last minute replacement for a fellow artist who couldn’t do the planned demonstration, I used this idea for my one and 1/2 hour painting demo.
